Can I put a portafilter on this scale?
You can indeed just fit a portafilter onto the platform, however, this scale and timer combo is specifically designed for use in making pour-over drip coffee.
Can this scale be plugged in?
This scale and timer does not have an option for a power cord. It is only able to be powered by 2 AAA-size batteries (sold separately).
Is this scale waterproof?
This scale is water-resistant but not waterproof in the sense that you can hold it under running water or submerge it. Some water splashed/spilled over the top is fine but should be wiped off.
