Wega IO Overview
Wega Macchine per Caffè has been a major brand of traditional Italian espresso machines since 1985. The company is owned by the Ryoma holding company based in Milan, which officially acquired the brand in October 2012. Wega’s core business consists of the production and distribution of professional espresso machines, coffee grinders, and accessories.
The Wega IO is the perfect compact espresso machine for smaller spaces. The Wega IO is unique with its fun, young, and stylish design. While similar to the Astoria Pratic Avant Series but has under 20 amps draw (ideal for mobile coffee carts). The Wega IO features touch-sensitive touchpads, a single boiler heat exchange system, pre-infusion, turn-style steam knobs, raised groups (up to 20 oz. cup), and barista downlights. Overall, the Wega IO is a great value!
