Its wide mouth allows dosing beans in without them bouncing out and can also be used as a ground catcher to grind coffee into, and to comfortably remove any excess dose. It has a spout to help pour coffee beans directly into a grinder or ground coffee into a brewer (or both if you want!). We decided that two sizes - small to hold 30-40 grams or large to hold 60-80 grams - were better than trying to make something universal, so pick the one that suits your workflow. No one thought weighing and dosing coffee could enhance the coffee-making experience, but this tray is something we didn’t quite know we needed.
